A Word From Our Doctors On Parasites

Dogs and cats are not just pets, but are members of the family. Like any member of your family, it's important to keep your pet healthy and free of parasites.  In addition, there may be health risks to people from diseases or parasites that can be transmitted to humans.

These may include:
Roundworms, giardia, fleas, toxoplasmosis, tapeworms, and hookworms

You can reduce the risk of parasitic infection to your family by eliminating parasites from pets, restricting access to contaminated areas, and practicing good personal hygiene.

We recommend year-round parasite prevention in order to most effectively protect your pets and your family.

We also recommend yearly parasite screens for your pets to ensure that your parasite preventatives are working effectively and to ensure that your pet is parasite-free.
